Thread - Black

Tail - Orange hackle barbs

Body - Flat gold tinsel

Hackle - Yellow tied on as a collar and tied back and down

Wing - Dyed gray bucktail tied over the body, with over wings of orange bucktail, then dyed gray bucktail. Each of the three wing portions should be equal

Cheeks - Jungle cock eyes or substitute

This pattern probably originated in British Columbia, in the mid-1940s

Wing - Coastal blacktail deer hair tied over the body

Clyde Hoyt originated this pattern in 1940 for summer-run steelhead.
