Thread - Black
Tail - Scarlet red hackle barbs
Ribbing - Flat silver tinsel
Body - Dubbed with fluorescent red lamb's wool
Hackle - Fluorescent red tied on as a collar and tied back and down
Wing - White marabou tied over the body and extending to the end of the tail
Topping - Six strands of black ostrich herl
E. H. "Polly" Rosborough of Chiloquin, Oregon, originated this pattern. Even though Polly was better known for his series of nymphs, he considered this fly to be his trademark.
