Hook - Single salmon

Thread - Black

Tip - Lower half, flat gold tinsel; the upper half, yellow floss

Tail - Black hackle barbs

Butt - Black yarn

Ribbing - Oval gold tinsel

Body - Flat gold tinsel

Hackle - Guinea fowl barbs tied in at the throat

Wing - Gray squirrel tail over dyed yellow squirrel tail

Charles Krom of New York City originated this pattern in the mid-1970s.
