Author’s Note
This is another salmon fly by Hans P. Odegard, who ties
flies in the Norwegian copper-mining town of Røros. Hans acts as guide on the
wonderful Gaula River in summer, and this fly catches many salmon there. It is
excellent elsewhere in the salmon world.
Extra hotspots (e.g.
a tag of fluorescent red floss) and a little flash (3–4 strands of Crystal
Hair) may increase the effectiveness of this fly.
